Dodgeball Update!

Ok, so it looks like they don't have a summer league, boooo!! This is the e-mail that I recieved back.

Currently, we don't have any plans for a summer league, but should have one ready for the fall season.

Bonnie and I spend the weekend close to Merritt, yes that's right home of the Mountain Music Festival! Alas there was no mountain music happening this weekend, but it was a great get-away. Her parents own a little piece of land right on the lake and we spent a couple of night there hanging out. This is a picture of the view at night.

So I was searching around the interweb looking for quotes from the first episode of The Tick, live action series, it's got some of the stupidest dialogue ever, I love it.

Here's an excerpt, Tick is about to leave the bus-station where he's been protecting the innocent for god knows how long and he's saying goodbye to all the people there...

YEAH!! Ok, so I just heard about this crazy dodgeball league in Vancouver! I'm going to try and get some more information on it for the summer league, but I'm planning on trying to get a team together!!

Point No Point

This past weekend I took Bonnie for her birthday to Point no Point. It's an amazing little hideaway about an hour past Victoria. We had a great view of the ocean, with the waves crashing into the shore, it was so relaxing I highly recommend it! We had a great time exploring the beaches around there and just basically hanging out and having fun.

Our plan was also to go whale watching, but because of the high winds on sunday they cancelled the trip, booo!! That's ok though, we got to see my family instead.

5 Shot...

Ok, so at lunch we're walking around taking some pics cause it was nice out. Anyhow, we ran into some sketchy dude named "5 Shot" dunno why, it has something to do with his tattoos, anyhow he says. "Hey guys, you wanna take some real pictures, come check out the spraypaint job I did. So we were pretty stoked to see it! We followed him a couple of blocks and he took us to the most brightly colored alley I've seen in Vancouver. He said he did a lot of it, him and another guy, but I had my doubts. However you never know, if he did that shit, the boys got skills.
